1. Purpose
The purpose of Estonian University of Life Sciences (henceforth EULS) championships are:
2. Participation
Students, employees and lecturers of EEC can take part in the competitions. Students and lecturers may only represent their institute. All employees who belong to the units of the EEC support structure (e.g. the construction department) compete under the name of the Sports Club of the Estonian University of Life Sciences
3. Organizer of competitions
The championships are organized by the NGO Estonian University of Life Sciences Sports Club. The head organizer of the competitions is Renno Reitsnik ([email protected]). The head referee for each sport is designated in the respective sport's guide.
4. Competition system and rules
The exact competition system for each sport will be announced 24 hours before the start of the competition, unless the sport´s guide specifies otherwise. The rules of the sport are defined in the guide of the respective sport. The general guidelines of the EULS championships apply to the competition guidelines of all sports, unless otherwise stipulated by the competition guidelines of a specific sport.

6. EULS champions of 2024/2024
EULS champions are determined on the basis of sporting results in accordance with the rules of the sport.
7. EULS best institute/unit of 2024/2025
To determine the best institute and/or unit, the points obtained by participants in each sport (both men's and women's) are added up by institute. To find the best institute, the points are distributed as follow:
The winner of the sport gets 17 points, the second place 14, the third 12, the fourth 10, the fifth 8, the sixth 6, the seventh 4, the eighth 3, the ninth 2, from tenth to thirteenth place participants get 1 point.
If a pre-registered team fails to come to the competition in the team areas, the institute will be penalized with -10 points (with fourth place points). In volleyball and dodgeball events the teams can consists different units students.
The title of the best institute/unit will be awarded if a minimum of 50% of the sports competitions mentioned in point 5 have been conducted by the end of the academic year.
8. Sports God and Sports Goddess
The sports god and sports goddess title of the most active athlete of the EULS will be awarded to the athlete who has competed the most. If several athletes have the same number of competitions, the winner will be determined based on the ranking points obtained in the sports. In case of an equal number of points, higher places are counted.
The title of Sports Goddess and Sports Goddess is awarded if at least 50% of the sports competitions mentioned in point 5 have been completed by the end of the academic year.
9. Awarding ceremony
The top three in each sport will be awarded with medals. In addition to the above, the winners will also receive a prize. By the spring of 2025, the institute/unit with the most points will be awarded with a traveling trophy and named the most athletic institute of EULS. The Sports God and Goddess winner will receive a specially designed shirt and a handshake.
10. Protests
Questions and protests arising during the competitions will be resolved by the main organizer of the championships of each sport and/or the chief judge of the area at the same competition.

Registration is done in writing according to the guidelines of the sport.
